Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Keonjhar is situated at Hadagarh(adjacent to Elephant Sanctuary) at a distance of 110 Kms from the Distt. HQ and just 52 kms away from the Bhadrak(Charampa) Railway station (Howrah-Chennai route )& 180 kms. From Bhubaneswar Airport. Only Auto service is available from chenapadi (16 kms.from the JNV),the nearest busstop on Bhadrak-Anandapur State Highway . Being residential by establishment, It is set up in an area more than 30 acres with Admn. Building, Hostel for Boys and Girls, Staff Residence, Mess, Well equipped Computer, Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Geography labs, MP Hall with 500 capacity, Library, and   with rural feeded electricity & water Supply through a overhead tank with 50000 lt Capacity

School Building:

The School shifted to the permanent building (CBRI Model) in the year 1997 – 98. It plays the important role of carrying out all the administrative & academic activities and smooth functioning of the School. School building consists of Principal Room, Office, Staff Room, Store Room etc. It caters to the needs of the students, staff members and the employees; purchases and keeps a check on the utilization of stock to ensure that there are no shortfalls of necessary materials, and that maintenance works are well taken care of at all times.

Multipurpose Hall:

At the multipurpose hall, workshops, meetings and group discussions, morning and evening assembly,CCA ,Pace setting and seminars are conducted in a large and open space, and up to 500 people can be gathered in the multipurpose at a time
